FACULTY POSITION IN CHEMISTRY.
The Department of Chemistry at Colorado State University, seeks at least one tenure track or
tenured faculty members with research interests in any area of chemistry (including analytical,
biological, inorganic, materials, organic or physical chemistry). Candidates whose research
impacts the University's Current Research Initiative in Energy are particularly encouraged to
apply.
Candidates should hold a Ph.D. or equivalent degree and be capable of truly outstanding teaching, scholarship, and research.

POSTDOCTORAL FELLOW POSITIONS. The Department
of Chemistry seeks applications throughout the academic year from individuals
who are interested in obtaining postdoctoral research experience in the
areas of analytical, biological, chemistry education, inorganic, materials,
organic, or physical chemistry. Applicants must hold a Ph.D. degree in
an appropriate discipline. Salary is commensurate with level of training

INSTRUCTOR IN CHEMISTRY. The Department of Chemistry
seeks applications from Ph.D level chemistry instructors who are interested
in temporary teaching positions at Colorado State University. The Instructor
in Chemistry will contribute to the Department of Chemistry at Colorado
State University through a range of activities. The major commitment
will be teaching undergraduate courses as appropriate to the Instructor’s
background and the needs of the department. In addition, the instructor
is expected to demonstrate interest in improving teaching and learning
in the department through other activities. These can include but are
not limited to activities such as improving methods for chemistry instruction;
mentoring undergraduate students in outreach activities; developing new
lecture demonstrations; developing and revising peer evaluation tools.
In general, the instructor is expected to interact with other members
of the department including faculty, staff and students, enriching and
enhancing the undergraduate education program offered by the Department

RESEARCH SCIENTIST/SCHOLAR I, II, III,
and Senior. The Department of Chemistry seeks applications from
Ph.D level scientists engineers who are interested in temporary research
positions at the Research Scientist/Scholar level. Level I is for individuals
generally within three years of receiving their Ph.D and with significant
professional accomplishments. Level II is analogous to the Assistant
Professor title for regular faculty. It generally includes people with
three to seven years of experience beyond the Ph.D. and very significant
professional accomplishments. Level III is analogous to the Associate
Professor title for regular faculty. It generally includes individuals
with more than seven years of experience beyond the Ph.D, and with
extremely significant professional accomplishments. The Senior level
is analogous to the full Professor title for regular faculty. It generally
includes individuals well beyond the Ph.D that have demonstrated outstanding,
sustained, and extraordinary professional accomplishments as well as
professional leadership. Ranking and qualifications within these levels
are done on a case by case basis with factors that include the publication
record, past research funding, professional honors and awards, decisive
discoveries, and management experience. Applicable department research
areas include, among others, analytical, biological, chemistry education,
inorganic, materials, organic, and physical chemistry. The department
