Adopt-a-Highway Poudre Canyon Cleanup

In Colorado, roadside litter costs millions of dollars each year to control, and it is often impossible to keep up with the trash that gets dumped. To help address this problem along the heavily-trafficked Poudre Canyon Highway and help keep the Poudre River clean, the Colorado Water Center adopted miles 115 through 117 in December 2017. Quarterly clean-ups maintain the scenic beauty and natural habitats for all who enjoy the Poudre River  – and you can help!

The Colorado Water Center is frequently scheduling cleanups throughout the year. If you or any student organizations are interested in helping to organize a cleanup, please email ColoradoWaterCenter@gmail.com!
