In Colorado, roadside litter costs millions of dollars each year to control, and it is often impossible to keep up with the trash that gets dumped. To help address this problem along the heavily-trafficked Poudre Canyon Highway and help keep the Poudre River clean, the CSU Water Center adopted miles 115 through 117 in December 2017. Quarterly clean-ups maintain the scenic beauty and natural habitats for all who enjoy the Poudre River – and you can help!
Our next scheduled cleanup is: Sunday, October 14, 2018, from 9am to approximately 2pm. If you are interested in joining us, please click here to sign up! Once you have signed up, additional details will be emailed to you. If you have any questions, do not hesitate to contact us. We hope to see you October 14th!
