Meet at RiNo Velo in the Walnut Workshop for any bike tune up needs before setting off on a group ride that ends in the RINo ArtPark. Enjoy a short program after the ride, a water talk or activity in the Plaza at the RINo ArtPark.

5/10–Ride and then learn about public art projects and stormwater run off efforts across Colorado with Heather Otterstetter from the City of Westminster Water and the Colorado Stormwater Run Off Council.

5/24 –Ride and then learn with the MSU/Denver Botanic Gardens One World One Water Center. Nona Shipman will lead a Denver river history storytelling game where game winners win free passes to the Denver Botanic Gardens.

6/5–Ride and then learn… Ever wonder where rainwater goes? Join Chelsea Campbell, Water Quality Management Faculty at Red Rocks Community College, for an interactive talk about how clean stormwater can lead to a clean South Platte River.

6/12– Ride and then learn with Jordan Parman, Metro Wastewater, about the fish and macroinvertebrate (aquatic bugs) communities of the urban South Platte River, including results from surveys conducted in the river adjacent to RiNo ArtPark Plaza. This will include a demonstration of monitoring techniques and an opportunity for participants to see aquatic organisms live and in-person!

7/14– Ride and then learn with the Colorado Water Trust.

7/28– Ride and then learn…Ever wonder what happens to water after it goes down the drain? Join Chelsea Campbell, Water Quality Management Faculty at Red Rocks Community College, for an interactive talk about treating wastewater and protecting our water infrastructure.
