Did you know that in Utah, you can legally harvest up to 2,500 gallons of rainwater in above or below ground tanks? You can also harvest rainwater through earthworks, or rain-gardens, that slow, spread, and sink rainwater into your landscape. This month we’re fortunate to have Roslynn Brain McCann of USU Extension Sustainability and Jeff Adams of TerraSophia LLC joining us. They will provide an overview of Utah’s rainwater harvesting code, technical considerations for rain tanks (including best practices and common issues), and examples of water-harvesting earthworks.
