Biography

Dr. Jon Salerno is an assistant professor in the Human Dimensions of Natural Resources department at Colorado State University. Dr. Salerno is an ecologist, focused on studying people. His research focuses on questions about how and why humans make decisions, particularly the ones in response to environmental changes. Dr. Salerno is interested in what decision-making means for biodiversity conservation and natural resource management. He has worked in the American West and in Africa, including the McKenzie River watershed and the southern highlands of Tanzania.
