Biography

Stacey Baumgarn is the Campus Energy Coordinator at Colorado State University, where he is responsible for energy, water, and resource conservation education and outreach. He works with University stakeholders, faculty, staff and students on almost every sustainability related project under the Facilities Management umbrella. Stacey has worked in energy conservation since 2009: both at Larimer County Government and CSU. As a volunteer to the city of Fort Collins, he served on the Energy Board, the Climate Action Plan Citizen Advisory Committee, the Road to Zero Waste project, and the Community Recycling Ordinance. Stacey is a LEED Green Associate, and maintains ISSP-CSP, ACCO CC-P, and APPA-EFP credentials. He earned a bachelor’s in Philosophy and Sociology and a Master of Science in Business Administration through the College of Business, Global Social and Sustainable Enterprise (GSSE) at CSU. Stacey is a 2019 graduate of the Northern Colorado Water Literate Leaders program.
