Colorado Water Fellows prepares future water leaders to navigate the complexities of the field through a holistic, interdisciplinary understanding of water-related issues.
We work to advance the next generation of water leaders by training and connecting undergraduate and graduate students to careers and opportunities in the water field.

Why Become a Water Fellow
Theory and practice.
Every part of Colorado has unique water issues, we partner with government agencies, municipalities, water providers, and community groups to integrate locally relevant water knowledge with Project WET curriculum.
Statewide Network
Water education for youth.
Through workshops and hands-on programming, K-12 educators across the state gain knowledge and tools, from a statewide facilitator network of environmental educators, water experts, retired teachers, and community leaders, to bring key curriculum on water supply, uses, conservation, quality, and sustainable water management into the classroom.

How to Get Involved
Role definitions.
A variety of roles exist for people and organizations who are interested in becoming part of Colorado’s Project WET network.
An organization with a signed agreement to administer a Project WET program for a set area while abiding by terms and conditions set area while abiding by terms and conditions set forth in the agreement.
A person designated by a Host institution to lead their Project WET program.
A volunteer trained by a coordinator to conduct Project WET workshops for K-12 educators.
A formal or nonformal, pre-service, or in-service educator who works or will work with K-12 students.
