The Colorado Water Center & Project WET Partnership

The Colorado Water Center at Colorado State University is proud to serve as the host institution for Project WET (Water Education Today), a global leader in water education. Together, we are committed to bringing innovative water science education to educators, youth, and community leaders across Colorado, fostering the knowledge and tools needed to build a sustainable future.

Colorado Project WET consists of a statewide facilitator network of environmental educators, water experts, retired teachers, and community leaders that train educators to deliver Project WET’s interactive water education to Colorado youth. Through workshops and hands-on programming, K-12 educators across the state gain knowledge and tools to bring key curriculum on water supply, uses, conservation, quality, and sustainable water management into the classroom. As every part of Colorado has unique water issues, we partner with government agencies, municipalities, water providers, and community groups to integrate locally relevant water knowledge with Project WET curriculum.

Colorado Project WET is shaping the next generation of water stewards who will lead efforts to manage and conserve our most vital resource!
