Day 1 is a conference-style gathering to identify Colorado’s most urgent water workforce needs and education/training gaps, build synergies between sectors and organizations, and develop next steps for water workforce development. Day 2 features a Water Career and Education Fair designed to connect students with water-related employment and training opportunities. This program is ideal for water industry & employers, water-related educators & trainers, workforce development specialists, and students across Colorado.

  • Panel Sessions on Diversifying Water Workforce; Pipeline Programs; and Student Voices & Experiences
  • Breakout Group Session to identify water workforce needs and gaps, resources, and next steps
  • Evening reception to build connections & network

Day 2: Water Career and Education Fair 

The Day 2 Water Career and Education Fair is free and open to the public. Use the exhibitor sign up button above if you would like to have an employer/educator exhibit at the Water Fair. Use the student-professional networking session sign up button above if you are a student or a professional (non-exhibitor) that wants to participate in the speed dating networking session.

Day 2 Program Highlights:
  • Location: CSU Spur Hydro Building
  • Half day Water Career & Education Fair for students to engage with water employers and educators/trainers
  • “Speed-dating” networking session for employers and students from 10:00-11:00am
  •  Interactive water education displays, including RMSAWWA Hydrant Hysteria!
