Adams State Salazar Center to host 2020 State of the Basin Symposium

The community is invited to the second annual “Rio Grande State of the Basin Symposium.”  This virtual event will provide up to date information about the current water situation and water planning efforts in the San Luis Valley, on July 28th, from 5:30 to 7 pm.  The keynote speaker is Colorado’s top water official, Kevin Rein, along with local water experts and leaders.  The event will be hosted by Secretary Ken Salazar, the Salazar Rio Grande del Norte Center at Adams State University, and the Rio Grande Water Conservation District.  Registration for the free event is on-line and participants will receive a link to access the meeting before the event.
