Dr. Pat Keys is Lead Scientist for SoGES. His research is focused on a broad range of global sustainability challenges, including climate change, Anthropocene risks, and social-ecological tele-connections. He develops modeling tools for examining terrestrial moisture recycling, aimed at leveraging insights for resource management and how humans interact with the atmospheric water cycle. Dr. Keys also engages in work aimed to support progress toward the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). Finally, he employs quantitative and qualitative story-based futures methods, to depict radical visions of life on Earth.
