Biography

Brett Bruyere is an associate professor in the Department of Human Dimension of Natural Resources and the director of the Conservation Leadership graduate program. His research focuses on conservation education, leadership and planning in the context of natural or protected areas, sustainability planning and the training of conservation professionals. Bruyere received his B.A. in political science and environmental policy from Washington State University in 1993. He earned an M.S. and Ph.D. in human dimensions of natural resources from CSU in 2000 and 2002, respectively.
