Biography

Dr. Cooper works on the ecology and hydrology of wetlands and riparian ecosystems. Most of his work is in the American Cordillera and he has projects from Alaska to Tierra del Fuego. His specialty is the hydrologic processes that support peatlands, vegetation dynamics and composition, effects of river regulation on riparian communities, and wetland restoration.
