Biography

Professor Rideout received a B.S., M.S. and Ph.D. in Forest Management and Economics from the University of Washington in 1975, 1977 and 1983, respectively. He is a Professor of Forest Economics at Colorado State University. Dr. Rideout's research is focused on strategic planning and budgeting of wildland fire programs primarily through the STARFire spatial planning system.
