Biography

Dr. Bauerle is a Professor in the Department of Horticulture and Landscape Architecture at Colorado State University. He received his Ph.D. in Plant Physiological Ecology from Cornell University, his M.S. in Tree Stress Physiology from the University of Washington, and his B.S. in Landscape Horticulture from Colorado State University. At the present time Dr. Bauerle is involved in the development of process models based on plant physiological responses. Dr. Bauerle joined Colorado State in October 2007. Since his first faculty position in 2001, he has developed models for species and genotype specific carbon and water estimation and engaged in dynamic collaboration with several universities and federal agencies. He has published numerous refereed journal articles.
